Dr. Diep completed an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Anesthesiology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He was awarded the Chairman’s Award for Academic Achievement in Anesthesiology upon graduation. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. His fellowship training allowed him to experience a breadth of advanced interventional therapies, minimally invasive surgeries, and clinical trials for chronic pain management.
He offers patients a variety of treatments, including some of the most advanced and progressive interventional therapies in the region. He performs procedures under ultrasound and/or fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance. He specializes in neuromodulation therapies for post-laminectomy/failed back surgery syndrome and complex regional pain syndrome, including spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation. He is passionate about advanced minimally invasive therapies for lumbar spinal stenosis, sacroiliac joint instability, vertebral compression fractures and cancer pain.
